New from NY

Post by 2014PPV »

Hi Everyone! I just purchased a 2014 this past weekend. I was looking for a G8 for a fun daily I can fit some car seats in when I stumbled upon a deal I couldn't pass up. I made the 7 hour round trip to PA and got this new toy I can drive more than my Nova that collects dust in the garage.

120k miles
Kooks headers and Off Road X-pipe
Corsa exhaust
BTR Stage 2 Cam with Springs
CAI
SS steering Wheel
Circle D 3200 Converter

The car made 453 hp at the wheels on E85.

Short term I'll doing some interior upgrades; SS cluster, hooking up the paddles, SS console.

Later on I hope to tackle some more fun projects. I'd love to get an australian spec front bumper/door panels, some Camaro wheels and some SS seats (though for now the vinyl seat and floor will suit my two children in car seats well)

I've already learned a ton on here and am excited to learn more! I'm mechanically inclined but some of these late model electrical projects will give me pause.

One question I haven't seen a clear answer on, has anyone tackled converting the E brake to electric actuated as part of a console conversion? Thanks!

Mike

I just ordered a 2010 Camaro console to cut up and fit in its place!

Looks like its a Rampage, from my quick googling looks like this one:
