Missing front bumper cover clips?

Post by CrashTestDummy »

While giving the car the once-over, I noticed some holes in the top of the bumper cover, like where those plastic push pins would go to hold the top of the bumper cover to some bracket:

There is, however, no bracketry for anything to attach to. I figure it might have gotten crunched once, or twice, and the bracket was just left off. What goes there, and what does it attach to? Thanks.

Hmm, hopefully I can get replacement parts from the dealer. That, or perhaps CP?

The oil cooler "radiator" is mounted to the side of the block above the oil filter. It is a diamond shaped "sandwhich" cooler.

I think what xcidmigs is talking about it the missing cooler in front of the radiator. If you notice all the cars except the one in the first picture have an auxiliary cooler (for tranny or Power steering) behind the grille in front of the radiator. The cooler is not present on the black car.

Mine is also a 2012. You can see the mounting and cooler lines for the trans cooler on the driver's side of the black car. Mine is the same as his. The power steering cooler runs under the a/c condenser, the full length of the condenser.

See page 15 of the 2012 guide and compare it to the 2011 guide.
