Purchased and installed Kayhan Version 5 Radio Kit PPV/VE2 for my 2011 9c1. Did some modifications to the dash to make it fit. Pretty pleased with how it looks but I do plan on fine tuning it with some body work for the factory bezel that I had to cut. I also cracked the upper center trim piece, but have a new one that I'll modify and install. I also have two used Applique trim pieces that I plan on modifying as I'm not quite satisfied with how my first attempts look.
Pretty pleased with the head unit. It comes with a plug and play wiring harness that allows for the steering wheel controls to work, as well as the HVAC controls are integrated and touch screen functional. I use Android Auto which is connected via Bluetooth to stream my SXM. Was going to upgrade the factory speakers but the new unit activated the rear speakers and the unit has an EQ that allows me to tune the sound, I think the sound is great with the factory speakers. Also has output for an reverse camera so I ordered a license plate bracket camera from Amazon and installed that as well.
Only complaints are the Bluetooth connection "skips" for about a second on an intermittent basis and I can't get the GPS navigation to work (Google Maps works using Android Auto). I've reached out to Kayhan and their customer service sucks. Initial responses were not helpful and now they have just stopped responding. If anybody has a fix for these issues with the head unit. Please contact me.
