Re: Best Current Brand for Rotors
I don't mind turning Rotors within their specs or replacing them since the cost isn't to bad with all the overseas competition. I'm sure there's "High end" Chinese Rotors and many are just OK if your not looking for any kind of performance out of them. I love Ceramic, but for clutches not ...

Re: Best Current Brand for Rotors
You mention Brembo fronts, Calipers only? With the GM style rotors? And do you use Brembo Pads or you mentioned a GM part number as well on fronts. Do you notice much difference between the GM and Brembo pads, and what's the advantage over the stock calipers if I was to use a softer pad that stops w...

Re: Best Current Brand for Rotors
Thanks for your advise Moosman:) And I know how important it is to "Bed" the brakes in after a good brake job so you can avoid the pulsating peddle feel from occurring. I've actually experimted this theory on a 15 Ford Edge that went thru front pads and rotors every year no matter if they ...

Best Current Brand for Rotors
Well I'm back in the market for ordering a set of new rotors from Rock Auto or MaxBrakes out of Canada.
I'm not a fan of Drilled Rotors even Bendix or the better Centrix, they All seem to get micro cracks between the Drilled holes. What are the Masses using and been happy with?
Thanks All

Re: Water dripping from under drivers side floorboard
Wow, Thank you for that photo. And I was just under that area to install a vent cap (GM Genuine Parts 25892279 Multi-Purpose Vent https://a.co/d/74M4UrI)on the Trans vent hose that runs up the front of the bell housing that I thought it would of had a cover to keep debris or water from going in the ...

Re: Water dripping from under drivers side floorboard
I think I'll run it a bit longer with the A/C on and the cars up on blocks. I thought the evap condensation came out a designated hose under the front passenger side of the car ? I'll try pinpointing where it's actually coming from. If it's just oozing from between the heat shield material and the f...

Water dripping from under drivers side floorboard
Just wondering if it's condensation from the A/C that I just noticed dripping after the car had been up on Jack's for the past 2 months under a covered canopy? I finally got the car running after some wire harness issues on the motor, and I let it idle for about 20 minutes and turned the AC on for t...

Re: O2 wire harness repair
Yeah Thanks Joe. It would of been nearly impossible to fix especially that O2 connector behind the motor, so it just made sense to pull it out this far. So now I'm just trying to find a pretty good harness from an LS swap someone isn't needing so I can harvest the connectors and some pigtails to rep...

Re: Year differences on engine harness and ECM.
Hey Steve . I know this post is a few years old and that could be why that link you posted "can't be reached" is there a newer link /p/n ? I need the Pass side engine harness that goes to the right side of the motor and continuing to the transmission for a 2013 L77 I can't seem to find one...

2013 pass side engine/Transmission wiring harness
Need a new wiring harness, mine has to much damage from the exhaust/Cat manifold heat. Been looking for an OE from the GM sites but seems like it's only available for the V6s.
If anyone has a source for new or exact fit aftermarket one would be appreciated.
