P219A code
My car is throwing this P219A code, bank one is too rich. Doesn't seem to affect the car much other than an erratic idle, especially when it's cold. What are the common causes of this code in our cars? It has 110K on it, plugs are fairly new. Coil? Wire? Fuel injector? I'm thinking it is an injector...

Seat belt cable snapped
Hey guys, does anyone know if the seat belt recall includes 2014's? Everything I've read says it's covered through 2013. Mine separated today, was just putting the belt on like normal and it came apart so must have been on its last thread. Kinda scary to think about. But I need to get it fixed asap,...

Re: G8 axle back muffler delete pipes
I am familiar with the Solo exhaust, but are the J-pipes necessary with DOD delete? Might be even cheaper to just have a shop bend up some pipe and weld on some tips and flanges..

G8 axle back muffler delete pipes
I apologize if this question has already been answered but I did a search and couldn't find a concrete answer. Will the G8 muffler delete pipes fit the caprice? Here's what I'm looking at: https://www.ebay.com/p/18009189620?iid=182891626125&chn=ps&norover=1&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-117182-3...

Re: Leaking rear main seal
I figured it out!! There's a steady leak at the very top middle under the valley cover. Was pretty easy to feel for so I'm gonna ask for my money back for the dye test since the mechanic was (IMO) too lazy to find it. Does anyone here have a good reference for torque settings on the intake and valle...

Re: Leaking rear main seal
Also the cam and lifters have likely been replaced on this engine based off the number of hours on it. Could that DOD manifold leak oil under the pressure sensor? Like if whomever did the work jacked up that gasket somehow?

Re: Leaking rear main seal
Could a head gasket cause this amount of oil leakage? Speculating with a flashlight it looks dry but I'll check it again after I get the car back.

Re: Leaking rear main seal
So I got the car to a mechanic, he put some dye in the oil to find the leak and apparently it isn't the RMS, it's coming from up high on the engine and it's about impossible to tell where from. Is there anything closer to the top of the engine that would leak that bad? Again I checked around the oil...

Re: Steering wandering at highway speeds
Got the car to a mechanic today. He said the strut bushings are both bad and they move up and down with the movement of the wheels which is causing the left/right pulling and bump steer. From what I've read this is a common problem. However he recommended replacing the bushings, struts and sway bar ...
