Re: Fueling clarification..
My experience mirrors Jomama with basically the same setup. The difference in programming of the FPCM is that ours is programmed to drop pressure as the RPM increases. The easiest way to change it is to tune it with HPTuners. Reprogram it to maintain the same PSI throughout the entire RPM range. You...

Re: Hello fFrom SLC
Hello. It is a fantastic sleeper. I have been asked if its a Malibu or Impala. Been asked if I converted it to RWD. Been asked how I made the V6 sound so good. Why do I run such big tires. LOL. You hear it all.

Re: L77 and L96 cam
Personally if I am going through the trouble of a cam swap I would spec a cam to get more performance. A stage 1 from one of the usual market leaders, TSP, BTR, PatG, etc. or even pay PatG to spec a cam if you are doing more mods.

Re: 3:27 Chevy SS Diff' vs. 3:45 Camaro
The Camaro SS (manual) has 3.45 rear gear with a 3.01 first gear and 28.7" tire verse our 4.027 first gear and 27.3" tire. That's a huge difference! The Camaro SS is running a larger tire and less aggressive first gear trans ratio. A total 10.38 ratio in the Camaro verse 13.89 if you run a...

Re: Purchasing a Caprice sight-unseen
The Charger is ok. Its a pretty basic V6 no frills car. Had to strip the cage, push bar, emergency equipment, detail the paint, and then grab some rims and interior parts from the junkyard. It's nice in that the Challenger, Magnum, and 300 cross interchange with a fair amount of parts I needed. It h...

Re: Purchasing a Caprice sight-unseen
I purchase every vehicle sight unseen. The last few have been from Govdeals or state auction sites. Just picked up a Dodge Charger for my son last week over in Cleveland. I have realistic expectations. Pictures are not going to show every defect. Vehicles are used heavily and have dents, dings, scra...

Re: Cams for stock torque convertor?
I run the same BTR LS3 Stage 2 N/A, original version, cam and I lasted a week before I ordered a converter. Wife wouldn't drive it and it isn't very streetable. You could drive it on the street but it was annoying to drive. It's just too tight. Maybe on a LS3 with larger CI the cam lope might be a b...
