Well it seems like the car is in a limp mode. The dash doesn’t tell me that but I tried to move it today and got a CEL. The codes came back P0700 and P0797. I still believe that there is grinding coming from my passenger brake area but it appears more is going on.

So it wasn’t the parking brake. Does anyone have any other ideas?

Yes it is possible to have a V6 car with the G80 limited slip differential. The difference is the V6 cars did not automatically come with the G80 as standard equipment but the buyer could option the G80 for extra (minimal cost). My V6 is 4.10

Will a rear end from a 6.0 2014 Caprice swap into a 2012 3.6 Caprice? My diff is going out and I found a full rear end (minus brakes) from a v8. Will this work? If so is there anything that I need to know?
