Re: Wiring issue, maybe?

Well, I got a p0202 code for open circuit on the number two injector. I monitored the misfire live data and sure enough, number 2 had 17k misfires. I swapped the injector with the number 4 cylinder and monitored it again. Misfires all moved to number 4. I need an injector. It seems to be P/N 1263922...

Wiring issue, maybe?

Hey all. I'm getting misfire codes for cylinders 2 and 3. It seems to happen when I start it cold, as in 30-40 degrees in the morning. It goes away after 2 or 3 miles and comes back the next day. The first few times, I got a code for open injector circuit on both cylinders, since then, I just get st...

Re: hvac is not allowing me to have cool air.

BTW, I considered installing a new expansion valve. The basic scanners show no codes, and the old systems would have identical pressures because of a stuck expansion valve. It's the smart aspect that's slowing my roll on that. That, and all the goddamn money I've already poured down an open hole. I'...

Re: hvac is not allowing me to have cool air.

Thanks everybody. I'm only running it (forcing the clutch) long enough to see if there's pressure changes. I have access to a few scanners at work, including a tech2 and some snapon verus and other types. I only get to use them on my 15 minute breaks. I'm thinking maybe the head unit is bad. I have ...

hvac is not allowing me to have cool air.

I got 2015 l77. It was sorta cool (a/c wise) when I got it, but it got less and less so until it was ambient temp. I looked under the hood and saw the hose assembly was leaking and showing green die on the rubber part. I replaced the hose and charged it. Compressor would not engage the clutch. Pulle...

Re: Help! My clockspring unwound!

Perhaps it's because mine is a 2015?

Re: Help! My clockspring unwound!

I didn't get that number. I got p/n: 92284316. i sure hope it works for me. I entered my VIN and checked the application chart. It sure looks like the steering angle sensor is separate and under the clockspring part. I'll be sure to post up if it works out. BTW, it's from GM partsdirect.

Re: Help! My clockspring unwound!

Yeah, thanks. I'm going to have to drive it, so I put it all back together until I get the new one. The sensor is underneath. Pretty sure it stays with the column when the c/s comes out. Thanks for your help.

Re: Help! My clockspring unwound!

Thanks Shawnjon. I ordered a new one. I tried resetting it, this time lining up the backup marks from the camera first, but it didn't help. I mean, at least the b/u lines are normal, but same warning. Steering wheel feels great, at least. Pretty sure the clockspring was crunched previously. It's mis...

Re: Help! My clockspring unwound!

Just for a quick update. I think what I did wrong was that I left the steering wheel set upside down, where it has to be to remove the airbag. The book says to wind it until it stops and then back up 2.5 turns and check in the little window to make sure you see the cable u-turn or loop. I did all of...
