Checking the symbols in the box never occurred to me, that is very valuable insight. I did a little reading, and I came to the same conclusion that you did. No idea! Here is the description of the heated seats operation. I think they only reason they interface with the BCM is so that the BCM can shut them off if detects a low voltage situation in the car. About the only "cool" thing I found when pulling the flooring out of my car was a .45 ACP bullet. Besides that there were multiple rusty screws that I couldn't tell if they were dropped during up fitting, or during decommissioning, but the amount of rust on them was somewhat alarming.

Here are a few pictures from the ad when it was listed. I think I have enough material on hand to try a set of j tubes, so I'll probably try that before spending any money on the exhaust. I do like the sound outside of the 1800-2000 rpm range.
