2011 Caprice PPV NW Ohio
For sale is my 2011 Caprice w/ 141,000 miles. I purchased the vehicle in fall 2016 with ~60k miles, the next 80k miles were trouble free with the biggest issue being squeaking brakes intermittently w/ great pad life. Anyways, I have a number of service records to go with the vehicle. 4 "new&quo...

Re: 2013 Caprice 1100 RPM idle
I have had one instance recently where my 2012 did this, was in a drive thru line and it was about 118 out. I assumed this was a function of the system. When I shifted from park to drive it went back to normal idle. I did go back to park and idle was normal.118 degree temperatures can bring the gre...

This was the item I purchased from Holmart. I wonder what the tow bar will cost from Holden Parts USA. Hopefully I didn't over pay!

Re: Trailer hitch
I posted this in another but thought maybe it woukd be of interest here as well. Just to give an update on this topic - in May I ordered a towbar (rated for 2100kg/4700 lbs) from Holmart. To my door I paid $536 - something like 320 AUS for the towbar, $440 AUS for shipping, $25 AUS fee ~ .68 fx rate...

Re: P2135 and Reduced Engine Power
Update - I have not had the same trouble code appear in some time (likely since my last update). However, when under heavy acceleration (say holding the throttle to ~100% for multiple seconds) the car will give a blinking check engine light and stabilitrak is disabled temporarily. Letting off the th...
