Re: Truck Norris/ Low Buck Truck Cams and Successfully Passing an Emission Test in Texas

I drove nearly 1000 miles between the second and third try! Still failed as it was all highway driving, and I have a secure idle that I installed!

Weekend car only. You’re right on the LSA. I already bought the cam and springs (as well as new lifters pushrods and everything needed for the DOD delete ) before thinking about the smog test aspect. Re: rear seat overhead handles and hanger hooks

The clips you’ll need to install the grab handles are Auveco 21745. Amazon has them for ~17 for 15 clips. I tried to get them off a G8 I robbed the handles off of but didn’t have a couple of screwdrivers that would fit in the opening (not even sure they would do it!)

Re: G8 center with shifter and Tap up tap down shift

Even if my cluster doesnt display it, how does the bcm know that sport mode is triggered? What in the shifter activates when it is slid over? The blue and green wires are for tap up and tap down and i ran the wires to my bcm. Where is the wire for sport shift? Because theres only 8 pins in the harn...
