Re: Octane

One - I can't fathom 30-45 mpg in any sort of driving. I don't want to call BS but... BS. Two - Are you sure these performance gains are as dramatic as you are making them sound? I want to believe - don't get me wrong - but I doubt youre the first one to use 93 octane in our cars. And I know from my...

Re: Dual exhaust

If that is what you're going with I would remove both - I don't think anything will happen but I don't see any reason to just remove one.

There are a lot of better options but sometimes free noise is the best/only option I guess?

Re: Exhaust, rear diff swap, DOD delete, and LSA Supercharge

I like it, nothing wrong with some low dollar high labor modifications.

What is your exhaust now - Speed Engineering LTs to (unknown cats) to Camaro midpipe and axleback?

What does the car sound like? If you don't mind please post a video!

Re: Non owner with some questions

I'd have to mirror what 'Dummy said - this vehicle was perfect for what I wanted. I wanted power, RWD, and 4 doors - no frills needed. I had considered the SS or G8 but honestly couldn't afford the SS and didn't see the point in the G8 (would have been around $5k more in my area) as the main differe...

Re: Financing issues.

I recently refinanced through my credit union @ 2.79%, prior to that I financed through Wells Fargo @ 5.99%. Purchase was through a dealership and was one of five places they attempted, and the only to make an offer.

Re: Spotlight and Interior trims

Not too picky on timing (as long as the price is right I suppose). Would you send some pictures/info/price when you get the chance?

I'm not sure what these things are worth, just that new they can be somewhat expensive.

Re: Seat track plastic covers

The covers from a G8 will fit - I just recently purchased and replaced some of mine with G8 parts from a junker.

They aren't usually listed because they are "too cheap" to take the time to list - but look for any junkyard that has a g8 still in stock.
