oil pressure switch replacement

Earlier this week I got a check engine light , I when and had it checked they told me it was a oil pressure switch. which are they located on the engine? thanks in advance

same as all LS motors , behind the intake on the drivers side

also need to replace the filter below the sensor

Behind the intake manifold, its a huge socket. The plug has a collar that has to be pulled back about 1/8 inch, then it is removed like a normal squeeze plug. Theres a schematic that makes it real obvious but I'm on mobile and can't find it quickly now.

You don’t have to replace the screen, but it should be pulled and cleaned. Big deal with DOD engines.

for the less than 10 dollar price and being its cage is plastic , its cheap ins

Definitely, and probably a good idea to have around for when you pull the old one, and break the cage. :shock:
