Knock sensor code

Post by enroberts »

Hey everyone. Thanks for the add here. Just picked up a 2013 Caprice PPV w/ the L77 engine. It runs great but I have a p0330 code (Knock sensor bank 2). I've replaced the passenger side sensor and cleared the code but it returns after restarting the car. I also took the sensor I took off the passenger side and moved it to the driver's side (I'm not 100% sure on the L77 if bank 1 is driver or passenger side) but the p0330 code persists. I also replaced a section of the harness that was brittle for the driver's side knock sensor but again, no resolution for the code. For the time being, I tuned out the p0330 code in HP Tuners. Any thoughts? Thanks!

Sorry for the late reply.

You'll need to get the schematics and trace each wire from the sensor to the PCM connector and grounds. There might be another place where the wiring got damaged.
