Can you disconnect this connector that was identified (top picture in #4 post) and the DOD be 'disabled'? As in, like the same manner as disconnecting the connector to the sensor on the power brake booster (thanks Mooseman!), or using a Range device on the OBD2 port?
If so, do you know what if any codes will be thrown?

not if you want the engine to run correctly , the DOD system is alot more involved than just the VLM !
disconeccting the vac sensor in the booster creats a CEL code , and the computer knows to not turn the DOD on , which is why others will use it , plus its easy to get to
