air intake

Post by Groundczero »

So here is my new air intake setup, using the stock box, but got rid of all the baffles stuff, and yes the plastic band is from a vacuum cleaner.

That probably pulls colder air than a Roto Fab which just pulls hot engine bay air all day. The way the factory air box intake seals to the body is pretty nice, although I don't know how well it flows. You may want to consider upgrading to a higher flow filter element.

That's a big vacuum cleaner.

Nice and clean install!

That was my thoughts as well, but I am on KandN sight and do not see a filter for our cars what have other people used?

I'm not sure what's available for the factory air box. I'm using a modified Roto Fab that pulls cold air from the faux vent below the left headlight and actually seals to the hood unlike the way it comes. My IATs with this setup are only a few degrees above ambient.
