AFM Disabler

Post by grittenhou »

Anyone use an AFM disabler such as this device from Range Technology?

https://www.rangetechnology.com/product ... _disabler/

If so, what are your thoughts?

Thanks.

I have one for sale in the FS section. I sold my car.
It worked perfect.

It's just a Band-Aid. While it will prevent the engine from going into AFM mode, the weakness is the lifters that do so. It's probably a 'cheap' way to get AFM disabled without a tune, but the engine is still in risk of lifter failure until you change out the lifters.
