OTR Choice
OTR Choice
Hello all, looking for an OTR that isn't 500 bucks and that I won't have to mess with the radiator much to install. I am currently looking at the Harrop OTR intake for the G8/SS part no. 99-AKIT12316, anyone install this yet? Yes, I searched the forum, and I only see things about the Harrop superchargers. https://www.harrop-usa.com/harrop-otr-o ... intake/p37 I know it is out of stock right now, but I found it for a cheaper price on another website, I like the design of the opening on the top and bottom. Anyone have thoughts? Going full 3" exhaust soon so figured it's time for an intake. Trying to keep it 350-400 if possible and other suggestions are welcome. Thanks
Re: OTR Choice
HARROP/VCM you have to mess with the radiator , they are also the only one with brackets to replace the stock upper brackets , and you need to check the lower hose to frame clearance

Where did you find it cheaper than $325?
I see it for $350 here

Re: OTR Choice
The harrop and VCM appear to be identical to me aside from price, both require shifting the radiator back, there is no other way to get fresh air to that location without cutting the hood. The install of the VCM is very easy, even the radiator portion, I imagine the harrop will be about the same. That price is very appealing, I paid double that for my VCM, probably worth inquiring when they will be in stock again.
