I solved it. You need to set the tire type using a scan tool. If you replace the module or replace a tire pressure sensor, and it does not know the type of tire (in my case I picked p-standard metric, 35 psi), it will throw all dashes.

Now I'm going to revive this. I put some 20s with new sensors on my car and have had issues with all the tires intermittently faulting out (--) only to have them come back some time later. I used a reset tool to relearn the new sensors. The pressures are correct when shown. Seems to be quite common of an issue. The sensor design has changed a few times since 2011 and I bought the latest that suppose to be compatible with all designs/freqs.

I'll keep reading the threads in hopes for an answer.

You are using 315 MHZ sensors, correct? Some people have inadvertently acquired 433 MHZ units, those are no bueno with our cars.... If the sensors are band hopping that might explain it.

I bought the latest. They’re supposed to work with all frequencies up to this point, so it might be a band hopping thing. Afraid if I buy the 315 sensors I may end up with really old batteries and I’m back where I was with my originals. Might be the only way to go though.

Thanks for the reply.
