RPF1 wheels

Post by JUNKYARD_JACK »

Anyone ever seen RPF1s on a caprice/G8/SS/commodore? I really like these cars with 18s as opposed to 20s and I am having a hard time finding factory 18s that I like and I have always wanted RPF1s.

Seeing stuff like this makes me want to piece together a set as cheaply as I can and do it to it. However with a +40 offset I might need a spacer. Especially if I wanted to go to a 255/45r18.

I just got my new summer wheels and tires on yesterday. I checked front fitment with the strut and there's good clearance there. I didn't check clearance on the back, but heard no rubbing on the first 20 miles. The setup is close to what you want to run.

Wheels: Apex EC-7 18x9 ET42
Tires: General GMAX RS 255/45-18

OP did you ever end up going with them? They're so light that for the price they are almost unbeatable.
