New guy in San Antonio

Post by Bruno »

Greetings from Texas. I recently drove up Chicago and picked up a 2014 from CMI. I this group to learn about these cars and get input from members here who have been around them for a while. I'm in San Antonio, if you are too let me know, maybe I'll see you around.
My plans are to do an Olmos thing and make it a daily driver that can scoot.

Welcome aboard! Looks like a nice clean ride.

What is an "Olmos thing"?

Welcome, I am in San Antonio as well. I bought my car in March. I won an auction in Washougal, WA. I flew there and drove it home. There are a few Texans here.

Mooseman, "Olmos thing" is a typo😉. My phone auto corrected to that from OEM-plus, which is the theme I'd like to adhere to for modifying this car.

Chevy-Art, what does your car look like? I'll keep an eye out. So far, counting my own car I've only seen two other Caprices here, both were pandas doing work, neither actual cops.
