Another Howdy from Texas

Post by Onehundred »

I just bought a 2011 9C1 with 30,000 miles. I have to work out a few bugs, the stereo works, but there is no sound. I need to replace a motor mount and drive it a little bit to make sure it will be reliable and plug a few holes due to overheads and an antenna and spotlight.
I look forward to learning more about the car.

Just a little trick, 3M silver metal seal tape goes on in seconds to plug holes. Cut a piece to match, make sure the edges are flat on the hole(s) you want to seal, apply it, and either paint to match or forget it. The metal tape has a very long lifespan and is commonly used by body shops. That way a sudden rainstorm doesn't get your car flooded if you have open holes.

Welcome!

Thanks
Eric
