Rear Seats

Post by Chevy-Art »

I bought my car without rear seats or seat belts. I found a G8 with both, but the seat bottoms were in bad shape. I may still buy them, no one rides in the back any way. I also bought the seat belts. But I was only able to install the middle one. I haven't installed them because I am installing sound deadener. Will the G8 seat belts?

Everything that I am doing and posting is nothing special or spectacular, just a way of tracking my progress. This will allow me to see where I started from.

The outside rear belts in G8 are mounted in a diffrent spot than in the PPV. and the retractor is a bit smaller.
G8 is on the C pillar
PPV is on the rear deck.
Everything else is teh same between them.

Here is what the G8's look like:

Cool, thanks for the info. I have all 3 belts but I was only able to figure out the center one.

Gotta rise this from the dead, lol. So G8 seatbelts won't fit in a 2011-2017 caprice? I bought some, and seems the metal tab integrated on the housing is too big to fit anywhere on the PPV.

you cant lump all the caprices together , 11-13 are WMs , and 14-17 are WNs
