Switched 12v from the purple/red wire I found behind the glove box.

Run that to pin 85 of your relay.

Run a wire from pin 86 of the relay to pin 6 of the G8 switch.

The lights will be run from the (+) post on the under hood fuse box to pin 30 of the relay.

Run a wire from pin 87 to the (+) side of the light harness.

Run the (-) side of the light harness to the big ground stud just behind the underhood fuse box.

Because I put the relay under the hood, the wire for pins 85 and 86 run through the firewall using the abandoned wiring for the siren.

I will get my wiring diagram sorted and posted soon!

Id love to be able to find just a set of factory chrome trim bezels. light housing are common to other gm vehicles and relay/wiring is still "universal" items.

I really appreciated the drawing for reference. The caprice is such a road warrior, it deserves good lamps for driving at night.
