Does anyone know if 92173487 - left foglight bezel and 92173488 - right foglight bezel for the VE Berlina work on my '12 PPV since everyone is out of stock of the normal choices.

no, those appear to be the series one bumper from the berlina. The US PPV got the fogs based on the series 2 bumper of the berlina

Here is the series one: https://www.speedspares.net/92173488_p/92173488.htm

Wiring question... Someone speculated that if you ran the wires to the BCM the code to run it might be in there.

Does the 11-13 use the same BCM as the G8?

If so, will this diagram work?

The relay that is in the under-hood fuse block for the G8 is not there in the Caprice PPV. They used that spot for a fuel system monitoring circuit. In the Caprice PPV BCM the fog light function would need to be programmed in.

Thanks!

We were more wondering if we wired the switch to the BCM and to a relay of our own making if the BCM would trigger the relay without reprogramming.

Sounds like a "no".

The only question now is if the switch is OK with running a steady 12v to duplicate the circuit completely on our own without a BCM.

It looks like that the relay would be triggered by applying the "ground" signal from the headlight switch. But, you won't have the logic of the BCM turning off the fog lights when you use your high beams. The headlight switch and harness in the Caprice PPV does not have that circuit included. I have used a salvaged G8 headlight switch harness, picked out the circuit for the fog light and then installed it in the Caprice harness connector. This was also after switching out the headlight switch with one that had the fog light option.
