2014 CAPRICE PPV POLICE BATTERY DEAD

Post by 2822MM »

my 2014 Chevy Caprice sat for over a week with a brand new battery from AC Delco and upon trying to start it, it was completely dead to the point where the keyless entry would not even open it. I only have the main battery in this vehicle because I remove the auxiliary and the terminals are hanging freely. Any information would be greatly appreciated as to why this keeps happening.

With the key off the aux battery should be isolated so it really should not be a drain unless the isolator is faulty or they somehow rewired it.

Could just be a parasitic draw in any other system.

If you want to post up some pics of your aux battery we could see if there is anything funky going on with the wiring.
