Car took a beating to protect you it looks like however. You're making fast work of the new one as well! Btw that shot of your prior car looking down the side is real nice. Those the 8.5 inch wide V6 camaro wheels? Dont seem to stick out much for a low 30s offset wheel

Yes, those were 8.5” 6th Gen 18’s

Rear had 255/45/18’s
And fronts 235/50/18’s

With 235’s all around I had 0 rub

With 255’s they BARELY skimmed the lips on the rear, so I rolled them.

By the time you put the added width in, they sit almost exactly center of the steelie, with the additional width evenly proportioned

How did the insurance company treat you on the claim? How much would it have cost you to keep the car? I have several of these things and I am dreading the day someone hits me and I lose money on the deal.

It was his insurance, and....

They tried to give me the rod

No lube

Offered me $4600 for the car as a total, salvage title with a 1,000 buyback

I laughed and told the adjuster to meet me at the body shop, and his jaw hit the floor.

He was expecting wires hangin and spotlights and cop console, beat up pos cop car. <- his exact words

I,
Like EVERY responsible car owner should...

Had a stack of receipts putting the car at nearly 12,000... MORE than they offered me.

So, it was written as a specialty/custom vehicle, and I was Reimbursed accordingly. I could’ve kept the car, but I could have had it fixed. Hell I could’ve fixed it after the time on the frame machine. But the car was haunted......

it really was.

And it needed to be scattered across the country piece by piece… LOL

Having already rebuilt one wrecked car I decided to Take the money and run. I bought back the car for $1000 from the insurance company paid off a whole bunch of different debts...

And kept all the good shit for myself.

Finally got time to get the exhaust on

Did Blackhorse racing 5th gen Camaro SS Shortie headers, with ZL1 Cats, into a ZL1 mid section.

I used a set of G8 SLP Loudmouths to make my axle backs, with Flowmaster Classic 40’s
