I didnt realize this but i was following the On All Cylinders L77 build guide lol put the otr cai on, did headers, have the AFM disabler, im looking at getting my car remapped, and was thinking cam if i have enough buffer for my drag class limit

I had JBA SS header and catted connection pipes put on, had it ran thru the resonator b.c im still using DoD for now, have it 2.25 on back. They couldnt get my cutouts in just b4 the muffers and they were F-ing welded on so i cut them off. Left them and the cutouts i bought in the trunk to keep the weight the same lol


Okkay! Soo the air was 5-8* cooler than before. I think these shouldve been ~.05 higher.
Just over 1/2 a tank.
No cool down either for first TT
2.13 60ft, 5.88 330ft, 8.92 @ 82.5
1hr 20m cool off till the last time
2.08 60ft, 5.80 330ft, 8.82 @ 83
2.05 60ft, 5.74 330ft, 8.75 @ 83

40 minute cool off, im found out last event thats the sweet spot for consistency

Went into semi's & was fastest car left. Saying that its crazy b.c i still cant do a brake torque burnout!! Im going to get stock mufflers back on with right cutouts, then have it remapped. No idea what to expect after a remap. Tracks done for the yr, but i still can lock in a race in mexico with 8.4 camaro. If that race goes down, ill post results, if not ill have to wait till next yr for results of the remap

Ok, so stock the car was 9.05 to ~9.35
So when it was within 100 of 0 DA, i ran 8.75s. I assume the work lowered it ~.3 and the average was 8.9.

In July ihad a 2.25 x pipe put on. Went to the track and was 85*-90* lol terrible air for me, 2400 - 3400 DA but ran 8.9 to 9.1, so i think the x pipe lowered my ET ~ .05. It was faster for sure.

Tonight i ran in 50* air, 750 - 850 DA but at a diff track. I put on a ported & rod mod intake! I think my exhaust is to small having cats & being stock after the X. I got to the track & let it cool for 1hr & 15, left the cutouts capped so it was thru the mufflers; 8.82 & 13.57. Opened them and let it cool the 45m it needed, got 8.74 & 13.45. Once again lol i can tell its faster. I should do a ZERO DA correction calculation

Another 1/4 track day! Tried a couple different things today. I had my 2.25 x pipe and 2" stock pipe replaced for 2.5 x & Camaro exhaust. I did wedge the butterfly valves open. I was also messing with drive vs low. My MPHs are well in range of 6k RPM but the car shifts like 90 feet b4 the line

Cutouts capped & in drive
•2.086 60ft, 5.765 330ft, 8.786 1/8 @ 81.9 & 13.54 1/4 @ 103.6!
I thought i lifted early so i let it cool off 40m and re ran it
•2.107 60ft, 5.79 330ft, 8.806 @ 82 & 13.55 @ 103.9
I left it in low and it held revs till 6k then shifted into 4th ~30ft b4 the line lol
•2.079 60ft, 5.764 330ft, 8.764 1/8 @ 82 & 13.51 @ 103.6

I uncapped the cutouts and used low. Held 6k then shifted
•2.062 60ft, 5.71 330ft, 8.715 1/8 @ 82.3 & 13.44 1/4 @ 104.1
Incapped cutouts and in drive, it shifts close to 5.7k
•2.070 60ft, 5.709 330ft, 8.708 1/8 @ 82.45 & 13.42 1/4 @ 104.2

I tested out some e85 in my car but the times were messed up but the comparison from 93 to e85 was pretty good! I ran a few more 8.70 / 13.4s on 93 and ran 8.65 / 13.35 on e85. That something i wanted to do for awhile b.c there seems to be mixed reviews on it.

Then i swapped the gear to a 3.27. Engines still untuned, just had the tire size fixed (3% off), gear changed, and a conservative trans tune with the usual 5,600 sport shift point in and the weather cooperated for useful data

•2.000 60', 5.65 330', 8.632 1/8 @ 83.25 & 13.33 @ 105
•2.041 60', 5.695 330', 8.677 1/8 @ 83.1 & 13.39 @ 104.5. It dropped it by ~.15

Then in the middle of a test n tune i seitched to catless pipes b.c this seems to be unsure topic;
•2.007 60', 5.65 330', 8.624 1/8 @ 83.4 & 13.32 @ 105.16
•2.009 60', 5.638 330', 8.598 1/8 @ 83.73 & 13.275 @ 105.44
•2.057 60', 5.678 330', 8.635 1/8 @ 83.7 & 13.31 @ 105.52. Barely lowered the average

DA was 400-700 all day same wind conditions and last yr 1/4 pass which was pretty good.
I let the car cool off for an hr before my 1st run and then 40 minutes after. It took an hr to switch the pipes b.c i had to shape them there to fit the x pipe lol but i feel its a very accurate comparison.

I put a 25% underdrive accessory pulley kit on and actually had a 45* day at the end of May!

The DA was 450-550 but the track was so cold they cut session short.

•Run 1; 2.042 60', 5.66 330', 8.600 @ 84.37 1/8, 11.11 1000', & 13.23 1/4 @ 106.6! I could tell it spun off the line so i took 4psi out of the rears, theyre still the 265/40s bridgestones

•Run 2; 2.014 60', 5.635 330', 8.57 1/8 @ 84.37, 11.09 1000', & 13.208 @ 106.7! I didnt turn sport shift mode ON, performance mode ON, or take off stabilink lol i didnt notice till the return road.

•Run 3; 2.03 60', 5.64 330', 8.58 1/8 @ 84.57, 11.10 1000', & 13.226 @ 106.4.

•Run 4, 2.056 60', 5.665 330', 8.60 1/8 @ 84.3, 11.12 1000', & 13.24 @ 106.5

The next day it was 650 DA at the 1/8 mile track and i did an 8.55 & 8.57 b.c it actually hooked up! Im not sure where them slips are tho

Tonight i met up with a tuner, but it was 80* and 3k DA when we started

3,000 DA Untuned: 2.23 60', 5.945 330', 8.973 @ 82.3, 11.56 1000' where i let out. I dont like running 1/4 in that kind of heat, its alrdy 2x the distance i normally race but i knew it was SLOW

2,700 DA untuned: 2.182 60', 5.87 330', 8.884 @ 82.5, 11.46 1000', 13.63 @ 104.3. Stayed in it b.c i treed a 6.4 Challenger and it was a good race. He ran 13.30

Car got tuned and i drove it around. Let it sit for 20 minutes and run it..

Est 2600 DA TUNED: 2.15 60', 5.825 330', 8.83 1/8 @ 82.9, 11.39 1000', & 13.55 @ 105

Ill have to wait for the weather to cool down and compare it to the 13.2 runs. It feels faster, dont know why the slip doesnt show it
