What are you all doing for insurance coverage? So many companies don't have a Caprice in their list of insurable vehicles. Help!

I use Geico for most of mine. I always have to call them as the Caprice’s are not in their system.

Geico gave me no issues. Did it all in the app while waiting for the paperwork to be done up. Easy peasy.

Progressive gave me a bit of an obstacle at first, but I eventually got it worked out. Ended up going with a declared value policy to start coverage. They had never heard of the current car model but with mine they generated the research to add it into their permanent database (so they told me!).

GEICO here, started it on the app, followed up with a phone call, took 10 min.

USAA didnt have it, but they were able to add it. They just needed safety features and average value.

Hmm, funny, sort of. They gave me a hassle when we purchased our '12 back in, I think 2018. Kept asking if it was a 'gray market' car, and I told them it was a Holden of Australia, imported BY Chevrolet, just like the Camaro and G8, and that it has Chevrolet badging and Chevrolet data tag on it. They finally did some 'deeper diving' in their databases, and squared things up. I kind of figured that would fix issues for any future customers, but I guess not. Sigh.

i "had" metlife, but they sold the group policy im a part of to farmers. farmers didnt have the model, but i told them what it was and they added it manually. no issues. $40/month to add to my existing policy, 100/300 plus uninsured motorist, NO collision coverage
