New Caprice Owner in VA

Post by AlucarDx757 »

Morning All,

I just won an auction for my new project/daily 2014 Chevrolet Caprice 9c1, retired Raleigh, NC car 80K miles. I feel I got a fair deal on it $6700, once I sell my current daily I get to start buying parts :D . Going to work on reliability items first DOD delete, all fluids w/deep trans pan, plugs, wires, body work, aux system/battery removal(maybe? cannot find enough info on if it harms anything). I've been learning a lot from everyone who has been through this process already so it makes planning easy.

Welcome! That is a unique colour. Is that blue, teal or green? (screen makes it look like a blueish green). It looks like one of those colours that couples get divorced over  (It's blue! No, it's green!)

The Raleigh police department calls it electric blue. In person its very very blue. They do have a unique paint scheme down there compared to normal black and white cruisers.
