2013 Caprice has flashback2 in the trunk

Hey guys. My recently purchased 2013 has flashback2 in the trunk as you can see by the attached pictures it’s still connected. From the little I could find about it looks to be a DVR for footage. My questions are, has anyone else dealt with this, is there a way to view the footage on the DVR and is there anything I can use it for? Thanks for your help guys.

Here's a link to a site that has the equipment manual on-line. You'll probably need to visit a locksmith and have them make you a cylindrical key if you want to get inside the media compartment. This manual is for a Version 3 and you have a Version 2 installed, with luck it'll be close. Linky to the manual site;

If it was anything like my old department they would swap out the HD every day from the vault to store the data at the PD. I would imagine they probably left the system in the car because they installed a new system in the patrol vehicle they replaced. They probably removed the HD and left the system. Either way crack open the vault and see if there is a hard drive in there.
