WTB: 6.0 A6 Engine/Trans Wire Harness (2012)

Post by Schul274 »

I would like to buy a replacement wire harness for my 2012 caprice PPV (6.0). I believe I have a wire pinch/rub through in mine.

If anyone is parting out a car or has an extra, please let me know.

Did you find a harness yet? If not I may have one from a 2013. How much did you want to spend $$?

Thanks, I ended up repairing mine. I guess it's common for these harnesses to deteriorate from heat from long periods of idling, at least mine was at the O2 connectors on the back of the engine.

starter and crank sensor wiring will also need some care at somepoint , so keep that in your mind if you have the starter out , or exhaust manifold/header , as that frees up alot of space to repair them

I went thru the same issue, I called a few wiring harness manufacturers for motor swap projects and got quotes almost double what a typical LS swap harness would cost and would have to wait up to 3 months for it. So it was easier to just buy good quality connectors and all the other supplies to make my own, which was probably better quality and heat shielded than OEM.
