What Gear am I in when using shift box.

Post by Johnny6speed »

I’m finally getting my shift box for my 2013 after being tuned for E85 and a putting in a full exhaust. My question is, has anyone found a way to get the what gear the trans is in displayed on the instrument cluster? Or does anyone have any ideas as to how I can get the gear displayed a different way. I want to make sure I’m getting the most power out of each gear. I really appreciate any help or ideas.

I have a shift box, but haven't installed it yet. I remember seeing. a nice one online a while back, but I've slept since then. :)

Might something like this workL: https://www.dakotadigital.com/index.cfm ... rd1222.htm

You'll need a separate display, but Dakota Digital has those, too.

You can send gauge cluster and get it reprogrammed so it will show the gear it is in. Or if you try and reprogram it yourself if you buy some equipment and get a subscription to the Delco info.
