If the fans are coming on, I kind of doubt they are the issue.

If it were me water pump would be what I'd be checking next. Interchange is pretty wide and rockauto has a gm genuine for about 200$, also grab a thermostat if you haven't already.

Thanks Bluesbro, I had gone to an Australian Holden site and found that the LS3 pump from 2010-2015 should work with the L77, Flowkooler offers one, so I ordered that. Should that not address the problem, I measured and found a Spal 10" pusher fan looks like it would fit on the passenger side on the front of the radiator, I would wire it with just an on/off switch with a fuse if it comes to that.

Have you looked to see what percentage the fans are turning on when it is hot?

Sanford, how can I determine the percentage? They both come on, first at a low rpm, then at a higher rpm, thre are times when one of both sound confused and rpm fluctuates.

Get ahold of a decent scan tool that reads all of the modules on the car. It will you the percentage.

Or rather a scanner that can show live data.

You are correct, I left the live data part out, but
I would bet that if the scanner will read all of the modules, it will show live data.
