I’m not as active on the forum as I am in the Facebook groups or on other social media, but I figured I’d stop by and share my car here too!

It’s a MY13 WN Caprice imported from the Melbourne area in Australia. I got it up back in mid-February and have put about 9,000 miles on it since — mostly road-tripping from Austin, Texas to Nashville Tennessee, with one trip up to Indianapo

lis for Outback In The Midwest.

So far, I’ve done a few things to it:

Full LED lighting throughout

Saudi aftermarket taillights

HSV headers

Catback-style exhaust

Coilovers

TE37-style wheels

It’s sitting at around 340,000 kilometers, though you’d never really know it — the car still feels solid. There was a bit of shipping damage when it arrived, but that’s in the works of being taken care of.

It still has the DOD system intact (which i figured out :D :D has failed before), and I’m in the process of piecing together a delete kit that I hope to have installed before the end of the year. My goal is to turn it into a clean, comfortable daily driver. :D :D

I’ve got a few more parts waiting to go on, including Park Ave repeaters and a Geffari hood. Eventually, I’d love to add rear bags later, depending on my budget and availability.

Very cool and nice colour! Must have cost your soul to have it shipped over. Any issues with getting insurance?

Yea currently have it registered through a 6 month policy with National General, though I'll probably try and switch to Sick Insurance once its over.
I tried with Hagerty who said they didn't have a program for me that would work or Grundy who said they wouldn't cover it

Interesting color. Heh, yeah, some folks have issues trying to get the Chevy Caprice insured, I can't imagine trying to do a Holden, even though it's pretty much the same car.
