New toy!

Post by NoMiCaprice9C1 »

Just picked up a used caprice ppv. Fresh out of grand rapids, mi police duty. Cause I have a car buying problem :?

I'll probably be customizing it cause I have another problem..

Figured I join the group cause it seems like a wealth of information.

Probably wouldn't get to drive to much with winter coming up......

But anyways Hello everyone :D

Welcome! Let it not be said we enable "problems"... lol... but there's a good bunch of folks here that can help you and your ride through whatever ails it... Therapy, that's the word for it :) Horsepower exposure is the cure for an awful lot of issues.... dose and repeat as necessary!

Again, glad to have you here!

Welcome! It appears that you have a similar problem as many of us here so you'll fit right in. I was lucky/unlucky enough to find a 9C3 (detective package) car with only 708 miles on it...but it is a flood car. Needless to say the motor was locked up so I'm currently getting ready to do an LSA swap on the car from a 2011 CTS-V.

Thanks for all the welcomes.

Lsa swap now that sounds like a great time. (Wallet yelling no in background)

I think I wanna start with de-policeing it. Hate everyone slamming brakes in front of me!

I love when they get there slow selves out of the left lane and in the right lane where they belong. Thus letting me continue un bothered.

Yep. On the freeways or multi-lane surface roads, not a big deal. On two lane roads, though.....

Yea most of the driving I do is rural northern mi.... 95% two lanes....

Gonna remove push bar, computer and stand to make pass seat usable, various things attached to dash,

I'd there an easy way to remove spotlight? Looking at it appears to be more trouble than it's worth... Thanks

Welcome! My name is Maurice and I am a car-aholic.....I know I had hit rock bottom when I briefly thought about buying a front wheel drive Cruze...
Also, two lane roads are easy/fun with a very adequate right pedal...
